Meet Our Team

Michael’s Foundation is home to an array of talent. The Chairman, Mark Miller, is both an active philanthropist and is the current successor of Al Marah Arabian Horses.  Kriss Titus is the Founder and CEO of Michael’s Foundation, with over 30 years in business operations, and more recently 5 years in the non-profit sector.
Eileen Daley, a UCF Alum, brings her business management experience, and deep understanding of physical and mental health to Michael’s Foundation, as Director of Programing and Events. Kyle Godwin is our Sr. Equine Specialist, with an Equine Vet Tech license,  an Equine Management degree, and is currently continuing his education through the EAGALA certification.  Alan Alford, the program’s official Veteran Guidance Counselor, and Legacy Partner, brings his 27+ years of helping our veterans and their families receive the benefits they earned for serving our country! Even with their amazing talents, this team would not be complete witout the presence of the Al-Marah Arabian Horses and the true Heroes who utilize the free programs, our US Veterans!

A Word from
our Chairman,
Mark Miller

“My name is Mark Miller and I’m the chairperson of Michael’s Foundation. I’m also the owner of Al-Marah Arabian Horses, the host farm of the foundation. Al-Marah will be celebrating it’s 80th Anniversary in 2022, and we are extremely proud to host this wonderful program.
Our purpose is to use our horses to help veterans with PTSD heal by providing FREE veterans assistance in a proven program on our beautiful farm in Clermont, Florida.
My family will also celebrate the 75th Anniversary of using our horses in Equine Assisted Therapy. Our first project was to help deaf children learn that their challenges would not keep them from having wonderful, productive lives.
Since then, we have had firsthand experience with using Equine Assisted Therapy in a number of ways. We learned a great deal from one of our farm managers who lost both legs to a land mine in Viet Nam. He became a very good rider in addition to being a very good manager. We started some of the earliest Equine Assisted Therapy with Vets.
Over these 45 years, we have supported many programs that have concentrated both on Equine Therapy for PTSD and Addiction. The participants have taught us a great deal. Being horse people, we understand that every interaction is unique and that we can learn from everyone who we touch.
We also realize that our program is not stand alone, so we have included free help veterans with VA claim & legal services help.
We would welcome you to join our supportive community with anonymity and no expectations. I invite you to explore our website. If what you see interests you, come see us. There is no pressure to participate and there is never any cost to you”
