“I am so glad I took the leap and gave Michael’s Foundation a chance! I encourage others to give it a try, even if you don’t think riding horses is for you. You can always join the events just for the sense of Community.”

Michael’s Foundation provides a free Equine Learning Program to Veterans, plus 1 family member age 17 years or older. Each cycle of the Equine Learning Program in Clermont, FL consists of 12 lessons, hosted once per week. Requiring a 12 week commitment from the Veteran.

Once enrolled in the 12-week cycle, Veterans and their family member will learn the basics of grooming, tacking, leading and walk/trot horseback riding. This learning experience is hosted at the farm in Clermont, FL, and you will participate in the classes alongside of other Veteran participants.

All that is needed to start are long pants and boots with a heel, as Michael's Foundation provides everything else.

Once you complete the 12 Equine Learning Program lessons, you’ll be dubbed an Alumni! Granting you the ability to continue to ride at the farm for free on a regular basis. We start a new 12 week cycle every 4 months! Inquire for more information today.
