Horsemanship

Veterans, come hang out with horses and other vets!

Join us in horse-related activities such as learning how to lead a horse through obstacle courses, groundwork from an arena, driving a horse, and other proper horsemanship principles like grooming and safety! 

Our Program Managers will provide a physically and emotionally secure learning space in an interactive and hands-on environment, while teaching horsemanship foundations, management, and movement to veteran members.

Members can expect:

• Learn the foundation for how to keep yourself safe while in a horse’s environment
• Gain confidence around and while caring for a horse
• Build connections with other Veterans
• Learn how to lead a horse through obstacle courses, and more!

RSVP required, this is currently a non-riding experience. No experience with a horse is necessary!
